Tools for designers: the latest Adobe Creative Cloud update

The latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud provides some cool tools to help creative businesses adapt to some of the challenges created by the global pandemic.

Our favorite release highlights include:

Illustrator on iPad

Adobe is bringing Illustrator to the iPad for the first time, and along with it several useful touch-focused features. Importantly, projects created on ‌the iPad‌ can be edited and transferred to the Mac and vice versa.

Amazing new filters in Adobe Photoshop

Introducing five major features all built on new artificial intelligence in Adobe Photoshop. These are non-destructive filters that creatively transform images in just a few seconds. Highlights include:

  • Breakthrough with new neural filters
  • Sky replacement for easy magic in a few clicks
  • Two new Refine Edge Selections perfect for tricky subjects like hair
  • New Discover panel that uses AI to make recommendations based on you and your work

Fresco is now on iPhone

Adobe Fresco on the iPhone offers users the functionality they have come to love on iPad. Touch forward experience with all your favorite brushes and more. For ease, all Fresco projects sync across supported devices.

More power with Lightroom

The latest upgrade to Lightroom means Advanced Color Grading, as well as an option to save different file versions during editing. Photographers can add graphical watermarking to their photos, adding a logo stamp, and there’s a new ‘Best Photos’ feature that uses AI to suggest a curated subset of images in an album that’s based on photographic principles.

We applaud Adobe’s focus on remote access in their latest release and we’re excited that our unique integration with six Adobe Create Cloud applications (and also support for Adobe XD designs) will be used to review and approve incredible designs created using these latest features.
