We always love sharing details of new product features each month. For July, we welcome a range of powerful features that will especially benefit packaging designers and project managers, as well as reviewers in any team.

July’s highlights include another world-first online proofing feature – ColorSep, new file support for Apple users, adding comments with jumbojis, and the option to download the comment list. Read on to learn more.

Introducing ColorSep™

If you are creating packaging files, designs, and illustrations for print purposes, you’ll be excited to know that ColorSep™, a world-first color separation feature for online proofing, is now available.

ColorSep™ lets you preview the color separation plates of the proof letting you check each cyan, magenta, yellow, and black plates, as well as spot or Pantone colors, dielines, embossing, and more. Click the color separation icon, then select each plate, or several plates at once.

New file support for Apple Keynote, Numbers, and Pages

You can now use PageProof to route Apple Keynote, Numbers and Pages documents through a workflow. This file support is extended to both iCloud-based documents, as well as files saved to your computer.

Share your emotion with Jumbojis

Using emojis is a great way to convey emotions or when you’re trying to lighten the mood and sometimes, going big is just the way to do it. You’ll be excited to know that PageProof now supports jumbojis, the bigger version of our regular emojis. Perfect for when you want to keep your feedback light and playful. Just click the emoticon icon from the comment pane, or use the shortcut key :, and choose your emoji.

Add emotion to your comments with large emojis called jumbojis.

Download comments

You can now download the comment list from the comment pane as a csv file. Simply click the download icon, perfect if you’re wanting to keep an offline record, or import into another business tool.
